Karah has been providing care coordination for our office for 15 years when she began her journey in dentistry with us. She is one of the people who will be cheerfully answering the phone and welcoming you to our office. Karah enjoys making patients feel at home when they step into the office, and loves that the practice focuses on oral and systemic health.When not providing continuing care for our patients, she enjoys crafting, camping and spending time with her husband and three wonderful children.

Karrali has been working in the dental field for almost 15 years. She has three children (one girl and two boys), and when she’s not greeting you as you come in, Karrali enjoys reading and watching her daughter sing in the Los Alamitos High School Choir as well as watching her boys discover their new talents.

Paula has been involved with dentistry for 32 years and has been with our practice five years. She loves meeting new patients and helping them improve their overall health through oral health. Paula grew up in Los Alamitos and has three adult children and two grandsons in North Carolina. She lives each day dependant on God and wherever that path leads, and enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and biking as well as yoga. One of her favorite quotes is from Jane Austin: “Know your own happiness. Want for nothing but patience-or give it a more fascinating name: Call it hope.”

Leanna has been with our practice for three years and has been in dentistry for 17 years. She loves the smiles she and the doctors create as well as the friendships with her patients and co-workers. She loves being a part of our family-oriented practice. Leanna is married to the lover of her life and have a wonderful son together and their Rottweiler, Vito. Her passion in life is her family, faith and fun. Leanna and her family love to camp, surf, travel and go to UCLA games.

Lyn stepped into dentistry 15 years ago and has been with our practice for 2 years. She has always been passionate about being a dental hygienist, and especially loves all aspects of patient care and the teamwork of the profession that keeps her engaged. Lyn has a high school-aged son who loves playing basketball and the ukelele, and she loves staying active in yoga, dancing, snowboarding, surfing, hiking and traveling around the world. Lyn’s sense of humor shows through in her favorite quote: ” I’m going to stand outside, so if anyone asks, I’m outstanding.”

Isabel is one of the first people to greet you either on the phone or when you walk into our offices. She has been working in dentistry for 17 years and has been with us for eight years, first as a dental assistant and then as one of our front office admins. Isabel loves taking care of people and helping them make the best decision for their dental needs, sharing the practice priority to care for patients in the utmost way. When not helping to coordinate your appointments, Isabel loves to travel, enjoy adventurous hobbies including hiking, and spend time with friends and family.

Charlotte has been a part of dentistry for 42 years, and has been a part of our practice for 38 years. She loves the awesome patients of the practice, working with the gifted doctors of the practice, and her supportive and loyal co-workers, who like to affectionately call her “Char-latté”. Charlotte has been married for 52 years and has a daughter, son and granddaughter and grandson. Her passions in life include her loving and kind husband, her high-energy Westie mix dog, Daisy, and life itself, including the wonders of nature and spectacular sunsets. Charlotte also enjoys gardening, walking Daisy, shopping and learning the art of juggling. She suggests to everyone to keep laughing with her sense of humor and often shares her favorite quote: “I’m hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit!”

Stefanie has been a part of dentistry for 19 years and has been with our practice for 10 years. She loves giving patients the knowledge of dentistry and helping them make the right decision to be healthier. When Stefanie is away from the office, she is devoted to her husband of 13 years, her two sweet girls and their German shepherd, Kayla. Family life keeps her busy, and she loves sharing time with them going to Hawaii, camping, bike riding and going to the beach. Stefanie’s favorite quote is from Marilyn Monroe: “Keep smiling, because life is a beautiful thing and there is so much to smile about.”

Dentistry has been part of Nanine’s world for over half of her life, and has been with our practice for the past 25 years. Her goal is to complete 50 years of service, as dentistry has been a good fit as she enjoys helping people understand how the mouth relates to the entire body. Some of Nanine’s best moments are when she sees the light bulb go off in patient’s minds as they begin to understand that important connection. She feels that our practice helps patients reach people at their level of understanding and that because of that, patients continue to make our practice successful. Outside of the office, Nanine enjoys the gym, skiing, traveling, cooking and gardening, and spending time with her kids and family.

Cindy has been involved with dentistry for nearly 35 years and has been with our practice for five years. She loves the opportunities to help others and talk to patients about the dental health, and enjoys her co-workers and doctors that make our practice special. Cindy’s newest member of her family is her puppy Emma, whom she loves to baby. Her passions and hobbies include gardening and playing and walking with her puppy. Always an astute observer, Cindy’s favorite quote is: “Be aware of your environment.”

Heidi’s passion for helping people achieve beautiful smiles began with her 10+ years experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator. She firmly believes the key to a great smile begins with a healthy foundation in which to maintain your long term oral health properly. Heidi’s other passions include spending time with friends and family, music, and traveling, especially on her Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

April has been a part of dentistry for five years and has been with our practice for a year. She is originally from Long Beach, she was an active community member and volunteer, and attended dental hygiene school at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT, the birthplace of dental hygiene. After graduating, April lived and began her work in dentistry in New York City before moving back to Long Beach. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her bike and practicing yoga as well as travelling and riding her horse, Belle.

Leanne has been a part of dentistry for 22 years and has been a part of our practice for 14 years. She loves helping patients improve their oral health and keeping their teeth. Seeing patients doing well is very gratifying to her. Leanne loves to travel and explore the world when she’s not with her patients, and enjoys hiking and baking outside the office.

When she’s not helping patients maintain their oral health, Heidi loves to pursue her passions for photography and hiking, and includes her three kids in those pursuits as well.
